DYNAMIC INDEPENDENCE
Working for accessibility and inclusion in all areas of life for people who have disabilities.
Who is Dynamic Independence
Dynamic Independence is a non-profit organization that began in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in April 1985. In late 2010, we changed our name. We adopted the tagline "Blasting Barriers in Washington, Nowata, and Craig Counties" to reflect our mission of creating a society where every person has the right to a fully accessible and independent life. Our services are focused on individuals with disabilities and their families in Washington, Nowata, and Craig counties of Oklahoma.
The Board of Directors comprises community leaders, with at least 51% of the members being individuals with disabilities. They actively participate in the procedures and policies of the Center. The cooperative efforts of the board, staff, volunteers, and friends of the Center form the basis for a comprehensive program of services.
Dynamic Independence is funded through individual donations, private foundation contributions, and federal and state grants. All contributions are tax-deductible and deeply appreciated.
