Working for accessibility and inclusion in all areas of life for people who have disabilities.
Who is Dynamic Independence
The Center began in Bartlesville, Oklahoma in April 1985.
In late 2010 we changed our name to Dynamic Independence. Our tagline “Blasting Barriers in Washington, Nowata, and Craig Counties” reflects our commitment to creating a society where every person has the right to a fully accessible and independent life. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in Washington, Nowata, and Craig counties of Oklahoma.
The Board of Directors is composed of community leaders, with at least 51% being individuals with disabilities, who actively participate in the procedures and policies of the Center. The cooperative efforts of the board, staff, volunteers and friends form the basis for a comprehensive program of services.
Dynamic Independence is a non-profit organization. The Center is funded
through individual donations, private foundation contributions, and federal and
state grants.
Contributions are tax deductible and deeply appreciated.
